Lydian Sky is a Seattle-based collective blending neo-prog, hard rock, psychedelia, and art rock into a cinematic voyage of melody and atmosphere. Led by Scott Carness — a Berklee trained producer, engineer, and astrophotographer — the project bridges the cosmic and the human through soundscapes that shimmer with emotion and groove.

 

What began as soundtracks for astronomy films evolved into a vast musical universe, with producer Chad Shlosser (Polyphia, Billy Gibbons, Slash) and drummer Rich Lambert helping shape the radiant debut EP Nebula. The addition of Sammi Garett (Adrian Belew, Jerry Harrison) and Rusty Knorr in 2023 expanded the project’s range, setting the stage for Pink Aliens in Tahiti (April 2026) — a bold fusion of atmosphere, energy, and emotion.
