MOTHS is a doom and progressive metal band from San Juan, Puerto Rico, blending progressive structure with stoner, doom, and extreme metal influences. Since forming in 2018, the band has built an international presence through technical musicianship, atmospheric songwriting, and a cinematic heavy sound.

 

Their latest album Septem (2025), recorded in Buenos Aires and mastered by Jens Bogren, received international press support from outlets including Decibel Magazine, MetalSucks, Metal Injection, and Metal Hammer Germany. The band has shared stages with The Ocean Collective and Circus Maximus, toured across the Americas, and opened for Avenged Sevenfold at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico in January 2026.
